At Zion, we have many events and activities for all ages designed to promote fellowship among our members and to reach out to our community.
​Our vision for ministry includes INSPIRING WORSHIP, LIFELONG FAITH FORMATION, and JOYFUL OUTREACH. Together we share the love of God with our neighbors and globally through the larger church. 

Men's Fellowship

The Men’s Fellowship meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8:30 for breakfast prepared by the men.  After a good breakfast (sometimes prepared by the wives) we enjoy talking and getting caught up on all the news of the month.  If there are projects that are needed done at the church, we work on them.  The group serves the Easter Breakfast after the Sunrise service.  We would like to have all men of the church join us.  Let’s get to know each other better, and have some good conversation.

Social Ministries

Zion Lutheran members donate their time and talents to community service projects throughout the year.  Some of these include making food and serving at the Salvation Army Free Kitchen and putting together Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets as well as the Angel Tree Gifts for children.  ​

Prayer Shawls

The Prayer Shawls group meets once a month on the 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.  They crochet beautiful prayer shawls which are given to those who ask for them or to those who have a need.  A note is included with each shawl that reads, "This shawl was made just for you, to bring comfort, to know you are loved, to share in your joy.  This shawl is to wrap you up when you're cold, when you're hurting, when you need to snuggle.  This shawl was crocheted with Blessings, with Love, with Prayers.  Made by________"
